2007 Men's Retreat

Hey men of Marriage Matters! The annual Men's Retreat is upon us again. If you haven't already signed up, go check out the info here. If you would like to sign up, let me (Brandon) know ASAP!

For those of you already signed up, there's a lot to look forward to. Here's a list of things you should plan on bringing:

Mandatory Items
1. Bible
2. Junk food / beverages to share
3. A pillow doused in your wife's perfume

Optional Items
1. Underwear
2. Musical instruments to play worship (e.g. guitar, harmonica, empty 5-gal bucket, didjeradoo)
3. Additional blankets, pillows, sleeping bags as desired (YMCA provides enough though)
4. Clothing for recreational activities

Many recreational activities will be available so plan to bring appropriate clothing if you wish to recreate with other men.

WHAT IS THE CRACK?
Much like The Matrix, no one can be told, you have to see it for yourself. I will be leading a group of men through The Crack again this year. If you want to participate, please remember to bring the following gear:

1. Grungy clothes that can make friends with abrasive granite
2. Flashlight or headlamp
3. Sturdy shoes that can also withstand abrasive granite
4. Gloves for warmth (don't bring your $60 ski gloves!)
5. Several layers including thermal underwear in case it's cold

The tour through the crack will occur regardless of the weather conditions so please come prepared.
